Drop Off / Pick Up

Workshops & Classes

Please park in the lot across from Hartshorn Hall labeled "Central Lot 31" - 503 Academy Street.

You may park in either of these lots for free between 8:00 and 5:00PM

We ask that you park and walk your child to the main entrance of Hartshorn Hall

for both drop off and pick up.

Parents/Guardian - you will be given a pick up slip when dropping off your child. You must have this slip with you for pick up.

Participants old enough to drive may park in either of the above lots between 8 and 5pm

Parking in the UD Visitor’s Parking Lot is Strongly Recommended.

GPS information for the

UD Visitor’s Parking Lot:

(Parking lot entrance is next to the Honor’s College Building: 186 S. College Avenue., Newark, DE 19716)

We strongly encourage everyone to plan accordingly and give yourself plenty of time when arriving to the UD Visitor’s Parking Lot and following parking procedures.

We recommend the following options when paying to park in the

UD Visitor’s Parking Lot:

· Downloading the Passport Parking Mobile App HERE.

This app allows you to pay for parking in our Lot easily using your own mobile phone. The UD Visitor’s Parking Lot Zone is 1665.

· Using a credit card for payment at the parking Kiosks. The parking kiosks WILL NOT GIVE CHANGE.

Alternate Lot

Center for the Arts (CFA) Parking Garage

CFA Parking Garage:

79 Amstel Ave., Newark, DE 19716.

We strongly encourage everyone to plan accordingly and give yourself plenty of time when arriving to the CFA Parking Garage and following parking procedures.

We recommend the following options when paying to park in the CFA Garage:

· Downloading the Passport Parking Mobile App HERE.

This app allows you to pay for parking in our garage easily using your own mobile phone. The CFA Parking Garage Zone is 1663.

· Using a credit card for payment at the parking Kiosks. The parking kiosks WILL NOT GIVE CHANGE.

Street Parking

There is also City of Newark Street parking located on Kent Way.

The City of Newark also Utilizes the Passport Parking Mobile App.

FOOD

Students are strongly encouraged to bring water, snacks and a bag lunch.

Students will be taken to a nearby dining hall for their lunch. To ensure your child has a proper lunch,

we encourage them to bring one from home.

There are limited options for purchase in the dining hall and they require cashless payments.

As options are limited, we also strong encourage students with food allergies to be

certain to bring food from home.

Small snacks may be eaten during breaks between classes.

Please send children with simple, allergy friendly snacks.
